GENERAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

How do I make reservations for Laser Tag?

We accept reservations for our Party Package and for our Group Packages (for 20 or more guests). We do not reserve spots for smaller groups or individuals, including those with certificates such as Groupon, Certifikid, etc. Smaller groups and individuals are welcome to come play anytime we are open to the public, but we cannot promise to be able to fit you in to Laser Tag games when you arrive, especially during peak times which include most weekend afternoons (but we will certainly do our best). We are a large facility and generally have no trouble fitting a few more guests into our games and attractions, but we never know exactly what the crowd will be like on a given day. Feel free to call and we will try to let you know whether we expect to be busy at a particular time. We also sell tickets to our unlimited Laser Tag sessions in advance.

What are your hours?

Our weekend hours are generally 10:30 am to midnight on Saturday, and 10:30 am to 9:00pm on Sunday. During the fall, winter and spring, we open at 4:00pm Tuesday through Friday, and close at 9:00pm Tuesday though Thursday and midnight on Friday. During the summer (once school is out), we generally open at 1:00pm Tuesday through Friday. We are generally open when schools are off, and occassionaly open or close at different times for private events, holidays or other functions. Do you have open or free play times or do I have to be with a party?

We are always open to the general public during our operating hours unless we are hosting a private event (which will be posted on our website and calendar). Feel free to come in and play anytime, but keep in mind that we may not be able to quickly accomodate large groups during our busiest times (generally weekends and days when schools are closed) without advance notice. Also, we often sell out our unlimited Laser Tag sessions, and would not be able to accomodate anyone interested in an individual game or two.

Do you have any specials, deals, or discounts?

How do your Groupon and similar offers work?

Unexpired Groupon and similar vouchers can be redeemed any time we are open to the public except unlimited Laser Tag sessions (generally), SUBJECT TO AVAILABLE SPACE IN OUR GAMES AND ATTRACTIONS and any other restrictions noted on the voucher and/or the email/web site where the deal was offered. In other words, we may not be able to accomodate voucher holders during our busiest times, but we will do our best. Please note this restriction applies to anyone who comes in, not just voucher holders.

Unless specifically stated otherwise on the voucher, these vouchers DO NOT APPLY to Party Packages and cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, discount or specials.

Further, most certificates and vouchers retain their paid value after they expire, and we are happy to redeem expired (and unused) certificates for their paid value where applicable. Please note the paid value is NOT a general credit usable anytime for anything at Red Zone Adventures - the paid value can be used toward identical (and in many cases similar) items as the promotional deal or package, subject to the same restrictions as the original promotional value. For example, Groupons cannot be applied toward food, drink or arcade tokens and cannot be redeemed during Unlimited Laser Tag sessions.

Can I get into a game as soon as I come in? Do you ever sell out?

We are a large facility and can run up to 40+/- players at a time in our Laser Tag arena, so we generally have room for small groups even during our busiest times. Occassionaly, we are sold out of Laser Tag for anywhere from a game or two to a few hours worth of games, but this happens infrequently, and only during our peak times (typically Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons). We often sell out during our unlimited Laser Tag sessions, and, when we do, we cannot sell tickets to individual games.

When is a good time to come in?

Anytime is a good time, but if you are looking for less crowded times, weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekend mornings tend to be less crowded than weekend afternoons and evenings. We are generally less crowded during summer weekends than winter and spring weekends.

 

LASER TAG QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Can I make reservations for Laser Tag?

We accept reservations for our Party Packages and groups of 20 or more (subject to availability). We also sell tickets to our Friday, Saturday and Sunday unlimited Laser Tag sessions in advance.

Do other players play Laser Tag with my party or group?

Almost certainly yes, especially during our busiest times (weekends and any day that schools are closed). Parties scheduled during the week may have a better chance of having exclusive games, but we cannot make any promises of exclusivity.

Do kids of different ages and/or adults play Laser Tag together?

They can, especially during our peak times. We try to be mindful of age differences among parties that play Laser Tag together, but absent exclusivity (see below), there is no way to assure that different ages won't play together. In fact, during our peak times, we will typically see kids of different ages playing alongside each other. If you have concerns about the comparative ages of kids playing together, give us a call and we'll do our best to direct yo to times when we generally see either a younger or older crowd.

Is there any way to assure an exclusive Laser Tag game for my party?

We can provide exclusive games to any party with 35 or more PLAYING guests provided an exclusive game is requested sufficiently far in advance (i.e., before we create party schedules or sell tickets to walk-in customers). If you believe you must have an exclusive game, please contact us well in advance of your party date and we will discuss game buyout options with you.

Can I accompany my child in the Laser Tag arena?

Parents and other non-playing adults are welcome to sit in on our briefings, but are generally NOT permitted in our Laser Tag arena during game play. Please keep this in mind if you have young children who may not want to play Laser Tag without a parent.

Do you have a viewing area where I can watch Laser Tag games in progress?

Unfortunately, we do not have a viewing area for non-players. We always have Game Marshalls in our arena during games.

What Laser Tag game formats do you play?

During most times, we play a straightforward team game - generally one team versus another, although we may have up to four teams at a time - or we may play a solo game (i.e., every player for him or herself). Our Game Marshalls select the best format for the group based on many factors, including group size, player ages, etc. Feel free to request a specific format but please understand if our Marshalls select another game format.

What are your rules for Laser Tag?

Our Game Marshalls will explain our rules before each game, and they may change depending on the specific game format selected. Some rules that never change include: (1) no running in our arena, (2) no physical contact, (3) no foul language, (4) no sitting or laying down, (5) no "stalking" (ganging up on one player or following an "out" player to zap him or her just as he or she lights up), and (6) always practice good sportsmanship and fair play. Players who break our rules may be removed from our arena.

What is your minimum age or height requirement for Laser Tag?

We do not have a strict age or height requirement, but find that children much younger than 6 may not enjoy our Laser Tag (although there are more than a few 4 and 5 year olds who love what we do). Our equipment weighs about 5.5 pounds and is easily handled by young children.

How do you run your unlimited Laser Tag sessions?

We offer unlimited Laser Tag sessions nearly every Friday and Saturday evening, and Saturday afternoons. We also offer special unlimited Laser Tag sessions from time to time. During these sessions, we typically restrict our unlimited Laser Tag ticket sales to three times the capacity of our arena, meaning we have an "A" game, a "B" game and a "C" game. We rotate among these three games during the session. During special sessions, we may sell more tickets and rotate among more groups.

Can I just play one (or two, or three, etc.) games during an unlimited session?

We frequently sell out our unlimited sessions, and are generally unable to sell individual games. This applies to individual games purchased as a "walk-in" and special promotions like Groupon.

 

PARTY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Can I bring outside food and drink to my party?

All of our parties include food and drinks. Absent specific dietary concerns (allergies, religious observance, etc.), the only outside food and drink permitted are snacks, cake and bottled water. "Hot" or prepared foods, including pizza, sandwiches, wings, tenders, etc. are never permitted without our prior approval. Likewise, outside soft drinks are never permitted.

Do you provide cakes?

We do not provide cakes, but we do have space in our freezer for ice cream and ice cream cakes.

Do you serve anything other than pizza?

Yes! We offer many menu items, including hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, chips, etc. With advanced notice, we can provide sandwhich and wrap platters, chicken wings, salads, etc. Just give us a call or check the options on our on-line reservations system for our selections.

Do you provide paper goods?

Yes! We provide plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths, etc. Our products are not fancy or themed - you are welcome to bring your paper products of you want a specific theme or color scheme.

Can I reserve a specific party room?

No, we cannot promise any particular party room, although we will do our best to honor requests for a specific room. Our rooms are allocated based on each party's confirmed guest count.

When do you need a final head count?

We will call you anywhere between a week and a few days before your party to confirm all details of your party, including your guest count. We plan our parties' schedules based on this count, so it is critical that you provide an accurate count. We understand that one or two guests may get sick or face an emergency, and we can generally make small adjustments the day of your party. Please let us know as soon as possible if your guest count changes significantly from your confirmed count.

When do I need to arrive for my party?

Please plan to arrive no more than a few minutes before your party's scheduled start time. Please ask your guests to arrive on time since we pack a lot of action into our parties and need to start on time.

Can adults play Laser Tag during the party?

Of course! Adults can play along with the kids for an additional $6.50 per person per game, provided we have room available. If you know adults will be playing when you reserve your party, please be sure to let us know during confirmation so we can hold spots for them in your party's Laser Tag game(s).

What is your inclement weather/snow policy?

If we can open and our staff can travel to Red Zone without significant issues, we expect our guests to be able to do the same. Under these conditions, parties will go forward as planned. If roads are closed or otherwise impassible and Red Zone is unable to open, we will either apply a deposit to a new party date and time, or provide a refund in the form of a gift card that can be used at Red Zone.

PRIVACY, SECURITY AND REFUND POLICIES

What is your refund policy?

Deposits for any Party Package are fully refundable up until two weeks before the date of the party. In the case of rescheduled parties, deposits are fully refundable up until two weeks before the originally scheduled party date (NOT the rescheduled date). At the sole discretion of Red Zone Adventures, deposits for parties cancelled within two weeks of the party date may be returned in the case of extraordinary circumstances (as determined solely by Red Zone Adventures). Such returns may be in the form of the original payment (e.g., credit card refund, check or cash), or may be in the form of a Red Zone Adventures gift certificate.

Deposits for Group Packages or other events are non-refundable except in the sole discretion of Red Zone Adventures.

Payments for tickets for any of our unlimited Laser Tag sessions are non-refundable.

What is your privacy and security policy?

This privacy and security policy sets out how Red Zone Adventures (RZA) uses and protects any information that you give RZA when you use this website.  RZA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.  RZA may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from March 26, 2013

 

What we collect

When making a reservation for a Party Package, Group Package, Event or any other booking,  we may collect the following information: (1) name(s), (2) contact information including email address(es), (3) names of affiliated groups (where applicable) and/or child(ren)’s name(s) and date(s) of birth, (4) credit/debit/gift card information where such information is needed to process payment for deposits and other products, and (5) other information relevant to marketing, customer surveys and/or offers.

 

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

 

Internal record keeping, including scheduling and hosting parties and events.

We may use the information to improve our products and services.

We may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail.

We will never sell your information.        

We do not retain credit card information on-site or in electronic form on any of our computers except for signed credit card receipts, settlement summaries and related statements, records and correspondence.  These items do not contain complete credit/debit card numbers, and generally contain only the last four digits of any given card number.

 

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our website contains links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

 

Our party booking and reservation system is provided by a third-party, and when credit/debit card information is entered into our reservation system (either by you or by us), this information is used by this third-party and our credit/debit card processor to make appropriate charges and/or refunds to such cards.  Once processed, RZA and its owners, managers and employees do not have access to full credit/debit card numbers.
